   Fantastic - These shoes are as comfortable as they are aesthetically pleasing. Only downside is the sloped toes get drenched when walking on wet ground, rest of shoe will be dry? Perhaps the Gods idea of a joke.

   Within the first day of wearing these shoes I got compliments on them from strangers. They’re really cute and I love the color (I got olive/silver). The only problem is that they aren’t cushioned. They start to get uncomfortable after wearing them a little while. This shoe is the best buy I have made in years. They get the look from the ladies, they are comfortable and inexpensive. I wear mine as much as possible and will probably get a couple more pairs. Go with the tan, trust me on this!

   I love my new shoes! Dear Zappos, I’d like to take a minute to thank you for my new shoes. The shoes are even cuter than the picture and the size is perfect. I tend to have wide feet and am wary of buying shoes that I haven’t tried on but these fit great and are incredibly comfortable.    Wonderfully feminine shoe! This shoe is so feminine and, at the same time, comfortable. I have a wide foot, and it fits nicely in the “c” width. I love the cushioney feel of the heel and sole. They look equally pretty with dresses and slacks. The look and feel of this shoe prompted me to order a second pair of Sofft;I like them as well! Thank you Zappos. I have recommended your site to many, many friends and acquaintances.

   I love these shoes, and so do my friends! These shoes are perfect! The look very stylish with a vintage feel. The fit is like a glove and feels so comfortable, even after a day of work. I get compliments daily on them. I would highly recommend these shoes for looks and comfort. Great with dresses or pants.

   Sofft Beale - I love the period look of this shoe, and it is lovelier in reality than as pictured. I couldn’t tell from prose or photo the degree of arch support, so called Zappos always-wonderful customer service before I ordered, and learned everything about the shoe. I could hardly wait for them to arrive, which, since we’re talking about Zappos, they did in record time. They were exactly as customer service had told me: Arch support superb; footbed solidly supportive and soft-to-the-touch, almost cushy. The color is just as I’d hoped. The sole reason I returned these wonderful shoes, which would have worked perfectly with the 1920s and earlier-styles I love, is the fault of neither Zappos nor the maker: My size eleven foot simply does nothing for the shoes, perfect as they are. I am very reluctant to return them, for they are just what I wanted, but the fault lies in my foot. As always, though, Zappos makes returns easy, and within days I’d placed an order for more shoes. But by all means try Beale; it’s remarkably unique. If only my foot were equally so! Zappos, don’t ever change, please.
